Historic Installation Ceremonies: The Avon Congregational Church celebrated the Installation of Rev. Kenneth David Fuller on Sunday, June 13th. One year ago, Pastor Ken Fuller was called to serve in the 40th settled pastorate of the Avon Congregational Church. Following Congregational Church customs which go back to the seventeenth century, a settled pastor is subsequently examined by the Ecclesiastical Council and then installed in a traditional ceremony following historic roots. Pastors from throughout the Farmington Valley participated with the Avon Congregational Church family in joyously welcoming Pastor Fuller.
