DESCRIPTION:Fall Prevention Program\, Friday\, October 17\, 10:30 AM to Noon – Fall is a beautiful time of year but not something you want to do! Attend this informative program to learn about how to prevent yourself from falling through exercises and strength training\, improving your sense of balance\, mindfulness and situational awareness\, wearing proper footwear and good foot care. This program is limited to 20 people.  Please sign up on the main hall bulletin board or call the church office at 860-678-0488. Sponsored by Avon Congregational Church’s Called to Care Ministry. (This program is created to provide helpful suggestions for staying healthy. Consult your physician if you feel that an underlying health issue puts you at risk of falling.)
