Advent Bible Study

Advent Bible Study: The Birth Narratives, in the church library. Offered by The Rev. Marcia Cox, church member and retired United Church of Christ pastor. Most of us know well the Christmas story. But in our discussion, we will take the opportunity to examine it in greater depth through the writings in the gospels of Matthew and Luke. We will explore in more detail the time and place of Jesus’ birth, those present, the events surrounding it, and the meanings of the narratives for us today.
